When purchasing your Two Together railcard, you will name the two adults to be stated on your railcard. Please note this cannot be changed throughout the duration of your railcards validity.

Two Together Railcards are available to purchase in both physical and digital form. Both will require the names and passport style photos of the two named cardholders.

A Two Together Railcard allows two named passengers over 16 years old to travel together for less. Save 1/3 on your train fares when you travel with this railcard.

Only the two named passengers can claim the discount. It’s always best to book your tickets in advance where you will see the discounted price automatically applied after adding your Two Together railcard to your journey search.

How much is a Two Together Railcard?

Two Together Railcards are £30 for 1 year and they can be renewed annually.

If you wish to travel with a different person, you can purchase a new Two Together railcard with a different named passenger as there are no limits to how many Two Together Railcards one person can own.

How do I use a Two Together Railcard?

Travel with the person who is named on your railcard to get the discounted fare. Travel as a pair, providing both of your names are on the Two Together Railcard. Simply book your train tickets ensuring you have applied your railcard and travel with your railcard to validate your discount.

No, you cannot get discounted travel during peak times. You can use your Two Together railcard from 9:30am Monday to Friday. Travel anytime on weekends and bank holidays.

Can you use your Two Together Railcard before 09:00?

No, you can only travel outside of peak times. Get discounted travel from 9:30am Monday to Friday.

How many people can travel on a Two Together Railcard?

Two people in total can travel together on this railcard. The passengers travelling must be the ones named on the railcard. 

Can one person travel on a Two Together Railcard?

No, the discount is only valid when two people travel together using the Two Together railcard.
