Hull Trains Family train tickets are discounted tickets available exclusively on the Hull Trains website. Perfect for family trips to London, our family tickets are a cheap way to travel with the family. This all-in-one rail ticket allows one to two adults and up to four children to travel together for a discounted price.

Family tickets are exclusively available when you book direct on the Hull Trains website. Simply use the booking form at the top of the page to buy a Family ticket. We will apply the discounted price automatically for you.

The best way to get cheap tickets is to book in advance. To find out when tickets go on sale, you can sign up for a Cheap Ticket Alert, so you are notified when tickets are released for future travel dates. The earlier you book, the better the price.

You can use Family train tickets on board Hull Trains services only during the Easter half term - Friday 8th to Sunday 24th April 2022. After booking your Family ticket direct on our website, you must only travel on your booked service(s) as stated on your ticket. You are welcome to amend the date and time of your booking up to the day before travel, but you will be required to pay any difference in fare. Our Family train ticket offer is valid until further notice. 

No, our Family ticket is a web-only ticket offer that must be purchased online in advance of travel and prior to boarding. You can only purchase a Family ticket direct on the Hull Trains website.

Yes, Family tickets are available to purchase in both First Class and Standard Class. The discount is applied to both, so you are welcome to treat the family to a trip by rail in First Class.

No, you do not need a railcard to take advantage of Family ticket savings. We automatically apply the discount to the ticket when you book direct.

Railcards cannot be used when buying a Hull Trains Family ticket. No railcards or other discounts may be applied. 

Family tickets save you up to 20% on the total ticket cost for one to two adults and up to four children travelling together.

1. Family tickets are valid for one to two adults and up to four children travelling together.
2. Valid on Hull Trains services only between 8th – 24th April 2022, subject to availability.  
3. Family tickets are available to book for journeys from the following stations only: Beverley, Cottingham, Hull, Brough, Howden and Selby to and from London King's Cross.
4. Travel can only be made on the services you have booked, and seat reservations are provided free of charge.
5. This offer is valid until further notice.
6. Family tickets are Advance tickets, and as such are subject to availability on all services.
7. Tickets are non-refundable. Amendments to travel plans may be possible up to the day before travel; a change of journey fee may apply.
8. Tickets are valid in both Standard and First Class.
9. No Railcards or other discounts are available on Family tickets.
10. Child ages are between 5 and 15.
