Hull Trains has announced it will run a special, additional Hull to London service on Saturday 26th August to take Hull FC fans to London to watch the Wembley game.
The UK Rail Operator of the Year has focused its resources into supplying the service which will depart Hull at 07:28 on 26th August (calling at Brough only) and return from Kings Cross that evening at 20:34 calling at Brough and Hull.
Additional capacity will be available on Sunday 27th August on the 1248 service from Kings Cross to Hull
The move means that hundreds more fans will be able to travel by train to London for the big match. Jenny Wilkinson, Commercial Manager at Hull Trains said: “Introducing extra capacity on our services does require lots of planning in advance, but we’ve already prepared for Hull FC’s success and have the services all planned and ready to go. We’re delighted to be able to support the fans in this way and wish the club every success in the final!”
