Set to be released to stream on Apple TV on Friday 22nd November 2024, Hull’s historic Old Town was the perfect backdrop to be transformed into a 1940s London. Film stars include Saoirse Ronan, Stephen Graham, Kathy Burke and Harris Dickinson.
Hull Paragon Railway Station also features in the film, showcased as a bustling wartime transport hub complete with a steam locomotive 44932 that was brought in specially for filming.
Another key location for Blitz was the iconic Hepworth Arcade. This beautiful Victorian arcade was given a wartime makeover, with wartime posters and displays in shopfronts.
