Mildreds
This converted 18th-century townhouse is one of the most popular veggie spots in the capital. The restaurant sells both vegetarian and vegan dishes, and even has a takeaway bar that serves fresh salads and soups at lunchtime from Monday to Friday.Â
Mildreds can be found on Lexington Street in Soho, as well as in Camden and King’s Cross.
Sagar
Sagar is perfect for herbivores that love a bit of spice. Specialising in authentic south Indian cuisine, cooked by chefs from Udupi, the restaurant is renowned for its quality veggie dishes and delicacies. Choose from a tasty menu of curries, uthappams (lentil pizza) and speciality rice.
Sagar is situated at 31 Catherine Street in Covent Garden. They also have restaurants in Hammersmith, West End and Harrow.
222 Veggie Vegan
If you want to cut out absolutely all animal products, visit 222 Veggie Vegan. All of the dishes on the menu are 100% vegan, with selections also suitable for those trying an all raw lifestyle.
Sample a range of delightful nibbles at their lunchtime buffet from 12pm-3:30pm daily, or choose from the evening menu. The vegan roast is particularly popular, along with the 222 Tofu and Veggie Mince Burger, and Ben’s Special Stir Fry.

Ethos
With its prime position just off Oxford Circus, Ethos is a great place to go if you’re looking for a meat-free and gluten-free meal. The self-service restaurant offers its customers a wide range of global dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Intriguingly, they operate on a pay-by-weight system, so it feels like a vegetarian pick and mix. In the evenings you can take advantage of exquisite table service and mouthwatering desserts.
Ethos can be found on Eastcastle Street, Fitzrovia.Â
Grain Store
If you’re looking for somewhere that caters for every palate, Grain Store is a winner. With a vast selection of vegan and vegetarian bites, including their flavoursome chilli con veggie and bourguignon-style vegetables, you’ll be spoilt for choice. And don’t forget to try one of their moreish desserts too.
Grain Store is located in Granary Square in the King's Cross area.
RedemptionÂ
This spot is ideal for anyone trying to stick to their 2017 resolutions. Serving a variety of alcohol-free, sugar-free cocktails and meat-free and vegan bites, Redemption is one of the hottest veggie spots in Shoreditch and Notting Hill.
The owners wanted to create a space where adults could socialise without damaging their health, the planet or its animals.
Redemption can be found at 6 Chepstow Road in Notting Hill and 320 Old Street in Shoreditch.
