The Passion of Jesus, Trafalgar Square

Returning to the capital for the second year, this epic, open-air performance, featuring real animals and a cast of 100, is not to be missed. With two shows taking place (beginning at noon and 3.15pm), it's free to watch but make sure you take your waterproofs, just in case!

Hampton Court Easter Funfair

This bank holiday funfair has been providing family-friendly thrills and spills for over 150 years. Take a spin on the traditional carousel, try your luck at one of games or scare yourself silly by climbing aboard a white knuckle ride - it's all right here!

The Boat Race, Putney Bridge

Sun 31st March 2013

Join the 250,000-string crowd to watch Oxford and Cambridge battle it out in this legendary annual boat race. Get there early to make sure you get a prime viewing spot on the four-and-a-quarter mile course, visit the official Boat Race website for more info.

Easter Egg Hunt, Prospect Shopping Centre
