Boston station was opened in the October of 1848, which coincided with the opening of the Great Northern Railway East Lincolnshire line. The station’s two platforms serve this small, east coast town in Lincolnshire, with frequent East Midlands Railway services towards Nottingham via Grantham and Skegness. Boston is a historic port and market town was once the wealthiest port outside of London in the 15th century. From attractions such as St Botolph’s Church to the Bubblecar Museum, you’ll never be short of something to see in Boston.
