What is a Railcard?
A railcard is specific to the individual passenger allowing discounted train travel. There are a range of different railcards avaialble depending on your age or whether you travel as a group. Some railcards are available as physical cards or digital-only making it easy to bring it along with you for your journey. You must travel with your railcard to validate your discounted ticket.

- 16-17 Saver – No restrictions on when you can travel
- 16-25 Railcard – A minimum fare of £12 applies if travelling before 10am Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)
- 26-30 Railcard – A minimum fare of £12 applies if travelling before 10am Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)
- Family & Friends Railcard – Valid at any time except it cannot be used on journeys entirely within the London and South East area on morning peak time services, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)
- Two Together Railcard – Not valid for use on services before 9:30am Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)
- Senior Railcard – Valid at any time except it cannot be used on journeys entirely within the London and South East area on morning peak time services, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)
- Network Railcard – Not valid before 10am Monday to Fridays (excluding bank holidays) and a minimum fare of £13 applies at all times.
- Veterans Railcard – A minimum fare of £12 applies if travelling before 10am Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)
