Beverley Minster, the Parish Church of St. John and St. Martin, is recognised as one of the largest parish churches in the UK and a Gothic architectural masterpiece, and stands on the tomb site of St. John, Bishop of York who died in 721. Throughout the Middle Ages miracles were said to take place at this tomb which attracted pilgrims from far and wide. Take a guided or self-guided tour to learn more. Today the church remains an active place of worship as well as regularly hosting events.

Locally known as Nellie’s, White Horse pre-dates 1666 and is Beverley’s second oldest inn. To take punters a step back in time to when it was a coaching inn most of the original features are still in place.
